Taq DNA Polymerase

  • Excellent all purpose amplification enzyme
  • Separate MgCl2 solution provides flexibility
  • Leaves A-overhang for T/A cloning

    • B-Bridge Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase that exhibits very high primer extension activity. The enzyme is isolated from Thermus aquaticus has both a 5'-3' DNA polymerase and a 5'-3' exonuclease activity. However, this enzyme lacks 3'-5' exonuclease activity i.e., no proofreading ability), so it leaves an A-overhang which makes the enzyme ideal for T/A cloning.

    Hot Start DNA Polymerase

  • Reduces the formation of non-specific products
  • Improves results from multiplex reactions
  • Essential for low copy number

    • B-Bridge Hot Start DNA Polymerase is a modified form of B-Bridge Taq DNA Polymerase that is activated at elevated temperatures. A chemical moiety is attached to the enzyme at the active site and renders it inactive at room temperature. This feature prevents mispriming during setup and the first ramp of thermal cycling, resulting is higher specificity and greater yields. The chemical moiety is cleaved during a 15 minute heat activation step, releasing the active Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase into the reaction.

    Polymerase with Red Dye

  • Convenient substitute for regular Taq in routine amplifications
  • Easily confirm the addition of polymerase and adequate mixing
  • Compatible with T/A cloning

    • B-Bridge Taq with Red Dye contains a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase that exhibits very high primer extension activity, as well as both 5'-3' DNA polymerase and 5'-3' exonuclease activities. In addition, B-Bridge Taq with Red Dye contains an inert red dye which provides easy and quick identification of reactions to which enzyme was added and allows confirmation of complete mixing. The inert dye has no effect on activity or downstream processes. Taq with Red Dye is added directly to the reaction mix and is used in the same manner as standard Taq DNA Polymerase.

    • Proofreader (PR) Polymerase

  • Extremely high fidelity
  • Produces blunt-ended fragments
  • Excellent for amplification cloning

    • B-Bridge PR DNA Polymerase is a thermostable enzyme with proofreading ability. PR Polymerase exhibits both 5'-3’ DNA polymerase activity and 3'-5’ proofreading exonuclease activity. It is recommended for applications that require extremely high fidelity and/or blunt ending cloning.

    • A complete offering of ready-to-use molecular grade dNTP solutions as sets and individuals save you hands-on time and reduces the possibility of contamination. Complete, sets of all four dNTPs, as well as individual dNTP solutions help assure optimal and repeatable results from your routine amplifications, labeling, and sequencing reactions. All solutions have been tested to ensure greater than 98% purity.

    • Many B-Bridge Polymerases are available in a Master Mix format which significantly reduces set up time, the chance of contamination, and handling steps. A Master Mix is a ready-to-use mix that includes the enzymes, dNTPs, and buffer. You simply add primers, template, and water to successfully carry out primer extensions and other reactions. With the Master Mixes, routine tests can be set up with the confidence that results will be consistent every time. For efficiency and consistency use B-Bridge Master Mixes.
