Taq DNA Polymerase

B-Bridge Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase that exhibits very high primer extension activity. The enzyme is isolated from Thermus aquaticus has both a 5'-3' DNA polymerase and a 5'-3' exonuclease activity. However, this enzyme lacks 3'-5' exonuclease activity i.e., no proofreading ability), so it leaves an A-overhang which makes the enzyme ideal for T/A cloning.

Reduces the formation of non-specific products

Essential for low copy number
B-Bridge Hot Start DNA Polymerase is a modified form of B-Bridge Taq DNA Polymerase that is activated at elevated temperatures. A chemical moiety is attached to the enzyme at the active site and renders it inactive at room temperature. This feature prevents mispriming during setup and the first ramp of thermal cycling, resulting is higher specificity and greater yields. The chemical moiety is cleaved during a 15 minute heat activation step, releasing the active Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase into the reaction. |

B-Bridge Taq with Red Dye contains a thermostable recombinant DNA polymerase that exhibits very high primer extension activity, as well as both 5'-3' DNA polymerase and 5'-3' exonuclease activities. In addition, B-Bridge Taq with Red Dye contains an inert red dye which provides easy and quick identification of reactions to which enzyme was added and allows confirmation of complete mixing. The inert dye has no effect on activity or downstream processes. Taq with Red Dye is added directly to the reaction mix and is used in the same manner as standard Taq DNA Polymerase.

B-Bridge PR DNA Polymerase is a thermostable enzyme with proofreading ability. PR Polymerase exhibits both 5'-3’ DNA polymerase activity and 3'-5’ proofreading exonuclease activity. It is recommended for applications that require extremely high fidelity and/or blunt ending cloning.
